Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, relationship-based care in the client’s home
• Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, and transfers with professionalism and skill
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Support clients with dementia or memory loss using personalized care plans
• Accurately document tasks and observations
• Communicate effectively with the scheduling and client care teams
• Represent Home Instead’s mission and core values in every interaction
• Identify what a “great day” looks like for your client—and help make it happen

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Physically able to lift, transfer, and perform caregiving tasks
• Dependable attendance and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High level of skill in personal care and client support
• Experience working with older adults (formal or informal)
• Familiarity with dementia care and mobility assistance
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• CNA, HHA, or Med Tech experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience
• Paid orientation and ongoing training
